Web Thing #13
Well, after a few attempts I think I'm starting to understand Del.icio.us. And so far I like what I've learned. I have set up my own Del.icio.us account and can see a lot of potential within it for things I have a keen interest in, such as recycling, Going Green, spirituality, horticulture, and on and on and on.

Web Thing #19
For my Web 2.0 Award nomination, I'm putting forth Medstory. This is the type of application that the Internet was built to provide. People need information at their fingertips that will help them make informed decisions about their health. Every source has it's bias points, but with a many inputs to consider, the user can reach her own conclusion as to what is in her best interest overall. Just don't forget to consider the sources as you deliberate!
Web Thing #18
I don't see an purpose for me to use Google Docs at work, but I imagine there will be ways to use it associated with my blog as it continues it's life after the Web Challenge is finished.

Finally sucessful at downloading a podcast; you might want to listen to it yourself. It concerns the ongoing horror story that is reality today in Burma. You can find it online at Slate Magazine, under the title A Drastic Remedy.
Web Thing #22
Well, this one was certainly a challenge. Couldn't do it from my PC and couldn't even do it from PC Plus, in spite of help from one of the Web Challenge team members. Finally was able to complete the Thing using one of the TRIS PC's.
I'm looking forward to the day I can download to my MP3 (after I finish the complete Challenge).
